Please stop by.  I'd like to share my latest piece of furniture with you.  It is a Shaker sewing desk.  The original is held at the Chatham, NY museum - built circa 1860.  My reproduction is in maple and cherry with white pine as the secondary wood - all native woods the Shakers would have used to build the original.
